Live Online Weekend Retreat December - The 4 Immeasurables

Dear friends,

As we approach the end of our year long online programme exploring the "Art of Concentration", we have two really nice open events coming up before Christmas to end the year with.

Introducing the Bramhaviharas - Online Weekend Retreat

This is a weekend online intensive retreat introducing "The 4 Immeasurable States", of Love, Compassion, Appreciation and Equanimity.

As the authentic expression of enlightened mind, these practices lie right at the heart of the Buddha's Dharma and indeed all spiritual paths. Over the course of the weekend I will explain the essence of all 4 practices and give guided instructions on how to do the meditations upon them.

Not only are these meditations a fundamental part of the Buddha's gradual path, they are the core of the whole ethos of Bodhicitta ( compassionate enlightened intent) which is the very starting point of the Mahayana and Tibetan Vajrayana paths.

I will explain the role of each one in context to both approaches to the path as well as explore how they form the pivot for the notion of taking 'Love as the Path,' according to the system that I teach personally. I am sure this will be a very special weekend and one that all of you who are seriously committed to your own practice will not want to miss.

To join live you can register using the link below. If you are unable to join I will share some of the highlights after the event on my Patreon site.

Day 1 - Saturday 6th December, 9.30am - 5.00pm (UK time)
Day 2 - Sunday 7th December, 9.30am - 5.00pm (UK time)

We will have regular breaks and 90mins for lunch.

Registration admin fee - £50
Teachings are offered on donation. The suggested donation is £100 pounds which can be offered after the weekend finishes. If you are unable to offer the suggested donation then of course you may give according to your means.

This is a live online retreat which can be followed by any, regardless of where you live and in what time zone. We suggest that those who live outside of Europe, follow in their own time zone. Videos will be left available for a few days to allow time to catch-up.

Mettathon Charity Fundraiser

Following on from our "4 Immeasurables" weekend, we will then host our annual 12 hour live 'Mettathon' in aid of the orphanages we support.

This is always a wonderful community event whether you may chose to join us at one of our venues or follow along through our un-interrupted 12 hour live online broadcast. Please save the date 13th December 2025. We will send out registration details for this in the coming weeks.

sending you all much love

Dear friends, This weekend we begin our journey of exploration into how we might identify our needs, priorities and aspirations at the start of this year, and to genuinely align with them so that the efforts you make in all areas of your spiritual life best serve you. We fully understand that with meditation there is no 'one size fits all', and we want to help each of you find the right approach and practices that suit your needs. And with such a wide range of students that I am talking to, I...

Dear friends, With the start of the New Year, it is a good time to take stock and reflect on the year that has past, where we are at, and what might be our aspirations for the year ahead. In particular now is a good time to review your practice over the past year and ask where you feel you want to take it from here. Some of you might be feeling the call to re-establish a practice that you have let slip a little. Wherever you are on your journey, we would like to help and encourage you as much...
